Laura J. Jendrusch, known in the firm as "Laura J.," has a cheerful greeting and sunny smile for everyone she meets.  Laura J. provides legal assistance for all the firm's cases.  A long-time resident of San Antonio, Laura J. has a working knowledge about many of San Antonio's attorneys.  In her spare time, Laura enjoys many outdoor activities, especially softball, swimming, and fishing.  Laura J. is a former Texas State Champion bowler and a former Women's Softball homerun and RBI league champion.  She also enjoys dancing, arts & crafts, and just hanging out with family and friends. 

 

Marta R. Torres, Paralegal

Practice Areas:
Marta handles the front desk and is known for being a great listener, in English and Spanish.  She is involved in all of the law firm's cases. Marta's leisure activities include caring for her chihuahuas, dancing, singing, and spending time with her family. her favorite aspect of working in a law office is meeting new people and serving clients in their time of need with compassion, patience and understanding.

 

 

Lyssa A. Moreno, Bookkeeper/Billing

Biographical:
Lyssa loves helping people and is known for always having a smile on her face.  She is a graduate of John Jay High School in San Antonio, and has prior experience in the financial services industry.  She handles all the client billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable for the law office, as well as assisting with production of financial exhibits for divorces, probate, and guardianships.  Lyssa is also bilingual and is Marta's backup at the front desk.  Lyssa is a mom who actively volunteers at her children's schools.   Outside of the office, she most enjoys time with her family and with her two toy chihuahuas: Caramel and Snickers.  She enjoys all kinds of music, basketball, volleyball, bowling, horseback riding, and going to the beach or the park.

 

John D. Heard, Paralegal

Toastmasters (Vice President, USAA Chapter, 2002).

John enjoys outdoor sports, especially fishing, all types of music, classical literature, and spending time with his family. John works part-time for the law office, and spends the rest of his time with a collections firm.  His favorite part of working in the law office is doing legal research and courtroom litigation.
